Job Description

We are looking for a new Head of Telesales (d/f/m) to join the team. In close collaboration with our vertical Sales Leads and the Head of Business Operations, you will lead the Kleinanzeigen Telesales/Partner Sales Team. You will develop the functional strategy for Telesales and take a leading role in driving process and tool improvements to grow the business further. You and your team will also build our SME/SMB subscription customer base across all categories. You will report directly to the COO of Kleinanzeigen. This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin.

What you will do:

  • Lead the Kleinanzeigen Telesales Team

  • Develop the functional strategy for Telesales teams across all vertical categories

  • Achieve revenue and customer growth targets for Telesales set by the Business Leads

  • Foster functional excellence in Telesales across teams

  • Collaborate with the Vertical Sales Leads to align resource planning and forecasting

  • Determine tooling and process improvement areas together with the Head of Business Operations and Vertical Business Development and ensure optimisation progress for your area

  • Build deep relationships throughout the Go-To-Market organisation, and across markets

Who you are:

  • You own a master's degree in business, science or engineering

  • You gained 5+ years experience leading a sales / customer service unit and building sales operations, ideally in the tech industry (marketplaces, classified, software), insurance, banking, or telco

  • You gained experience leading and developing a team

  • You can translate data and insights into actionable strategies and initiatives

  • You can collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at multiple levels and influence them

  • You feel comfortable navigating in a changing multifaceted environment

  • You are fluent in English
