Job Description

At Adevinta we are looking for a "Continuous improvement specialist" to join our team in Barcelona. Be aware that this is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office), reporting directly to the Operational excellence manager, therefore you will have to come to our offices based in Barcelona.

Being part of the Customer satisfaction area and giving service to all Operations (Customer Satisfaction, Inside Sales&Loyalty, User &Moderation), and depending on the Operational Excellence team, whose main focus is to ensure the correct application of processes and operations to deliver the highest quality of service in Operations through continuous improvement in this role you will:

  • work cross-functionally. You will meet a lot of great people from all the areas of the business - and they will know you!

  • Work with all levels of the organisation from Directors to management to the operational teams You will get a great  idea of how the business is run.

  • Have a direct impact customer satisfaction, financial gain and productivity growth.You will be responsible for evaluating, investigating, refining and directing processes within their organization.

What you'll do:

  • Design the architecture of processes that connect operations with technology. Reviews and controls that its execution and application provides greater productivity to all areas of the company..

  • Lead transversal projects that correspond to the development and improvement of these processes. 

  • Establish, together with quality assurance, the kpis to diagnose the state of our process architecture.. 

  • Promote to work teams, awareness and best practices in day-to-day operations and functions.. 

  • Propose improvements and innovations that may suggest improvement for our company, attending to each of the markets where it participates.

  • Design, develop and implement the continuous improvement roadmap, linked to Operations strategic priorities.

  • Support teams in problem solving, using familiar lean tools and CI methodology, kaizen events and projects to improve quality, cost and inventory.

Who you are:

  • More than 5 years of experience as continuous improvement manager or continuous improvement specialist with extensive experience in companies with high operational complexity..

  • Extensive knowledge in the application of work methodologies: Lean, Six, Sigma, Kaizen, Scrum…

  • Has experience in monitoring and data/process mining tools such as: Celonis, Kofax Insight, myInvenio, UiPath Process mining… 

  • You are analytical, structured, strategic and statistical in your thinking. You know tools such as qliksense, qlikview, tableau, powerBI, dataStudio…

  • Experience in training, having acquired pedagogical and didactic skills.

  • Leadership in project management, as well as motivation of people in multidisciplinary teams.

  • High level of English and Spanish.
