Job Description

For the last year Adevinta has been on an exciting transformation of bringing all on premise services to AWS public cloud with a clear target of changing our business and organisational model so that our developers can gain immediate benefits using public cloud. This transformation takes place with the Product and Technology business unit and is sponsored by the Cloud and Infrastructure department. 

The Cloud Transformation team within C&I and under the Governance and Strategy tribe is the team that drives this long term transformation. The team ensures that C&I is well aligned with P&T and the overall business through the development and execution of an aligned strategy that is well supported by roadmaps, key performance indicators, change management initiatives and communications to help us maximise the positive impact that this strategy brings to C&I and its customers. 

Cloud Transformation is looking for a Change Lead to design, drive and manage initiatives of different scale in the field of transformation and ensure the successful delivery of them within specified timeframes and budgets, while driving stakeholder engagement and fostering collaboration within and out the Cloud and Infrastructure community.

What you will do

  • Develop, define and drive transformational initiatives, scope and deliverables in alignment with our Cloud and Infrastructure strategy and our organisational goals. 

  • Foster a strong relationship with the HR PBP and co-create transformation roadmaps to ensure that all local initiatives align with the wider P&T context and execution principles of Adevinta’s HR. 

  • As part of the transformation roadmap, lead and facilitate change management and engagement initiatives within Cloud and Infrastructure.

  • Led by the Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership Team and HR PBP on design priorities, support to design and implement operating model shifts required within Cloud and Infrastructure, with continued emphasis on changes to ways of working, responsibilities and cultural interventions. 

  • Partner with Org Design CoE, other transformation teams and HR PBP to ensure these designs roll up into the consolidated global priorities, for works councils and internal communication, whilst identifying dependencies, and constraints. 

  • Partner with Engineering Managers across all C&I and together drive operational excellence upon our defined strategy.

  • Design and manage comprehensive plans, including milestones, timelines and resources, conducting regular status meetings.

  • Monitor and control initiatives, track their progress, outcomes and risks. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in program delivery.

Who you are

  • You are highly ambitious and motivated to have an impact on our company.

  • You have proven experience as a Change Manager or Senior Program Manager (> 6 years), successfully developing and/or managing complex people programs from initiation to completion. 

  • You have experience driving change management initiatives that affect significant amount of teams (>15 teams) including organisational transitions, new ways of working, cultural shifts etc 

  • You have experience in deliverable co-creation between HR and Tech teams, aligning with their own priorities and expertise 

  • You have experience of managing complex stakeholder environments that are still on a development journey.

  • You have a solid understanding of Cloud transformation and the benefits arising to organisations from it. 

  • You possess strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), dependency management and tools. 

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • You have a data driven mindset. You like using metrics and KPIs to monitor program progress.
